Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. Her parents are of Italian (from her paternal grandfather), Irish (from her mother), German, English and Scottish origins. Linda grew in San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest of her four brothers. Acting became her passion when she was ten years old when she was cast as a singer in a school's annual Christmas production. She went on to perform in school and community stage productions. Linda attended Saint Francis High School, Mountain View in California. When she finished her studies she had to make a decision whether she wanted to move into New York or Los Angeles to study theatre. The choice was LA. Linda played her first major character in Bone Chillers, a 1996 television show. Her first big break was when she got her first role as a character in Freaks and Geeks (1999). Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on 5 April 1989. Her first acting experience began in the show Just William in 2010, which was a British television show. In the following years, she starred in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her breakout role was her role as the lead in the film of fantasy Cinderella (2015).
