Robyn Rihanna known as Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian musician and singer who has provided us with hit songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. She is a very popular performer who has sold over 41 million albums worldwide and over 150 million songs. Her parents hail from Barbados, and she started singing at a young age. In order to escape the tensions in her family and also the constant arguments between her parents and arguments, she began to sing. When she was still in high school she joined a musical group, and was asked to perform to be a part of Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the ability of this girl. The producer requested that the teenager move in New York and pursue a professional singing career. Rihanna jumped at the chance to take it. Rihanna's debut album was shortly out and Rihanna became a musical sensation in no time. People of all ages were attracted by her catchy songs which had them on their feet. This led Rihanna into the film industry. Young and talented, Rihanna is widely regarded as a teenage idol as well as a fashion icon. Rihanna is also active in helping charities and uses her fame.
